The Company

Symotec is a computer aided design and engineering services outsourcing company. The company is located in Yerevan, Armenia.
Symotec was founded by a group of professionals who are experienced in mechanical engineering. Based on professional skills of its staff, as well as on its deep knowledge and long term experience in usage of modern technical programs, our company provides high-quality Computer-based Bureau services, 2D/3D Design and Mechanical Drafting and CAE Services.
Due to our experience to work with customers having various requirements we have developed a dynamic work-style allowing us to show individual approaches to each customer.
Symotec invests the whole time and the potential of its staff in full usage of all the features of CAD/CAE programs. We use an effective project planning and control model to ensure that deliveries are made on time. We operate a quality management system providing assurance for our clients in our commitment towards excellence and customer care.
Our Mission is to do accurate and precise drawings and calculations that will prevent our clients from different risks and undesirable results; to offer speed and efficiency in overcoming design problems coupled with a cost-conscious attitude, which ensures excellent value for money.

Executive Team

Hrachya Khachatryan
Executive Director
PhD, Ms in Engineering, Honors

Hrachya has large experience in engineering. He worked as chief of laboratory in Yerevan Telecommunication Research Institute JSC, and as mechanical designer HRAT LTD JV. He also has many years of experience in network administration and webmastering in several companies and as private freelancer. Hrachya attended Yerevan Telecommunication Research Institute JSC, where he earned PhD degree in mechanical engineering. He is a graduate of the State Engineering University of Armenia and earned bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Hrachya also has advanced computer skills in wide range of software including Auto CAD and Solid Works and ABAQUS.

Artak Margaryan
Chief Financial Officer
PhD, Ms in Engineering, Honors

Artak has large experience in engineering and management. He worked as head of transport department in one of biggest forwarding companies in Armenia “Transimpex” LLC (Yerevan, AM), as junior research assistant in the State Engineering University of Armenia (in project which is analyzing corrosion fatigue for machine parts working in corrosion medium and financed by the Government of RA). Artak is a graduate of the State Engineering University of Armenia and earned PhD and master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He also has advanced computer skills in wide range of software including Auto CAD and Solid Works.

Karen Ghazaryan
Technical Director
Ms, Bs in Engineering, Honors

Karen is an engineer with rich experience and qualification. He worked as chief of laboratory in Yerevan Telecommunication Research Institute JSC and also has international experience as assistant to chief technologist in CAD/CAM bureau in Moscow. Karen has vast experience in managing team work between different departments of organizations. Karen attended the State Engineering University of Armenia, where he earned his master’s and bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (speciality: Low Temperatures Physics and Technics). Karen has strong computer skills in range of advanced engineering software including SolidWorks, CosmosWorks, CosmosFloWorks, AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

Edgar Sargsyan
Director of Marketing and Business Development
Ms, Bs in Engineering

Edgar Sargsyan worked at “ISOROOF” Ltd. for two years, where he held the position of chief of workshop. He was responsible for product quality and controlling of manufacturing processes. During that period he also designed and realized additional electronic equipment (electronic thermometers, detectors system) for advanced manufacturing. Besides, he has more than ten years of experience of private freelancing in engineering services. Edgar served in Armed forces of Republic of Armenia as communication platoon commander. Edgar Sargsyan is a graduate of the State Engineering University of Armenia and earned bachelor’s and master’s degree in the field of “Communication Means, Telecommunication”.
Edgar Sargsyan is familiar with CAD/CAE computer applications, such as AutoCAD and Solid Works.
